Introduction
The next decade will strip skills from resumes at industrial speed. Writing, coding, designing, analysing — the algorithm is faster, cheaper, and does not sleep. Muslims who see this only as a threat will be replaced. Muslims who see it clearly — as a stripping away of what was never the core — will finally return to what was always the core. This file is about that return.
Historical Context
Every civilisation-scale technology has separated form from essence. The printing press stripped monks of their monopoly on text — and forced Islam to develop new scholarly disciplines. Photography ended traditional portraiture — and painters discovered impressionism. Each disruption asked the same question: what remained after the machine could do what you did? For Muslims, the answer has always been the same: ihsan — the beauty of being human in front of Allah.
Islamic Lessons
1. Skills are provisions (rizq); character is capital (māl). 2. What Allah honours in you cannot be automated. 3. The Ummah's edge is not information — it is ihsan. 4. Fear of Allah produces judgment no model can predict. 5. The Ākhirah is not measured in productivity.
