Historical Context
The Prophet ﷺ established the chain of transmission (isnad) as a foundational principle of Islamic knowledge — every hadith traced back through named, vetted narrators. When Muslims destroyed epistemic hoaxes for centuries, this was their tool: verify the chain before you trust the content.

1. Verification is a religious obligation. 2. Never spread what you have not confirmed. 3. Silence is safer than participation in a lie.
