Introduction
You can lecture your child about Islam for eighteen years. Or you can pray Fajr in front of them for eighteen years. One of these approaches produces Muslims. The other produces resentment.
Historical Context
Umar's son Abdullah ibn Umar became one of the most meticulous companions in Sunnah practice — not because Umar sat him down and taught him. Because Abdullah watched Umar for two decades. Whatever the father did, the son mirrored. This is not a metaphor for parenting. It is the mechanism.

1. Children mimic what they witness, not what they are told. 2. Fajr in the home is louder than a hundred lectures. 3. Your body language during salah becomes their body language.
Modern Application
Do not wake your child for Fajr with a lecture. Wake them by praying it. Within a year, they will pray it because they cannot imagine a household without it.

- 1.Pray your fard salah where your children can see you.
- 2.Do not perform salah — inhabit it.
- 3.Make du'a aloud for your children by name.
